The success of each World Golf Championships event depends upon the tireless efforts of our volunteer force. Thousands of volunteers give their time and talents each year to help stage first-class tournaments in Akron, Ohio, Tucson, Ariz. and Miami, Fla. From assisting fans, keeping scores and statistics to feeding thousands of guests, World Golf Championships volunteers touch every aspect of these events.

Since 1999, volunteers have helped the World Golf Championships raise more than $20 million for charities, ranging from health care to youth and education to human services.

Volunteers help make the World Golf Championships outstanding events, allowing a few weeks of tournament golf to provide hope and opportunity to local communities all year long.
