Regardless of the names on the World Golf Championships trophies after each event, the true winner in every community will always be charity. Thanks to the support of countless volunteers, the local communities and the umbrella sponsors - Accenture, CA and Bridgestone - the World Golf Championships have distributed more than $20 million to charities over the past 10 years.

The World Golf Championships have supported The First Tee programs in local communities for years. Children learn not only the game of golf, but also the character building it takes to be successful in life. These efforts and many others create new hope in the local community and continue to prove that golf is the official sports of giving back.
