All grounds tickets are sold out for the sixth Wachovia Championship April 28 through May 4 at Quail Hollow Club, tournament
officials announced today at 10:00 a.m. "Once again area sports fans continue to look ahead on the calendar and make sure
they are part of what has become an extraordinary tournament played on a magnificent golf course, "said Wachovia Championship
Executive Director Kym Hougham. "A combination of patrons taking advantage of our renewal program along with many first-time
buyers has created a sellout a month earlier than past years. Once again this year, they will be rewarded when the PGA TOUR's
premier players come to Charlotte." While Weekly Books, Practice Packs and individual Daily Tickets for Thursday, Friday,
Saturday and Sunday are no longer available, two new upscale options remain-the Ultimate Access and Overlook Club. The
Ultimate Access package includes access to the Clubhouse, Event Lawn, 17th green Executive Club, 8th green Champions Club,
16th green Overlook Club, 3rd green Dining Chalet and Grounds along with spectacular amenities and merchandise. Also new
is The Overlook Club which provides access to a lakeside setting on the 16th green with panoramic views of three greens-14,

A majority of the proceeds from the 2008 Wachovia Championship will benefit Teach For America, a national foundation that
provides a corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit to teach for two years in underserved
urban and rural public schools. In five years, the Wachovia Championship has donated over $7.5 million to charities. About
