| Volunteer Opportunities |
The Reno-Tahoe Open officials will again need approximately 1,000 volunteers for the 2012 PGA TOUR event, July 30th - August 05 at Montreux Golf & Country Club in Reno, NV. "Our goal is to organize and host a prestigious sporting event that is enjoyable for all involved, this is a community event and volunteers are absolutely the heart and soul of its success. Whether you are a golf fan or not, being a volunteer at a PGA TOUR event will provide you with a lifetime of memories." -Executive Director, Jana Smoley Volunteers receive an official tournament shirt, a hat, meal tickets for days worked, parking and free shuttle to and from the tournament course and two week-long (Season) tournament tickets. A $55 volunteer uniform fee is charged. Prospective volunteers need not be golfers and no previous golf tournament experience is required. Volunteers under the age of 18 also are encouraged to apply. A minimum commitment of 3 days during the tournament week is required, but volunteers are encouraged to go beyond that. |
