HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES AMONG FIRST COMMITMENTS TO TRAVELERS CELEBRITY PRO-AM

Hartford, Conn., Friday, May 16, 2008 - Hollywood stars as well as a Tony-award winning actor will tee it up alongside PGA TOUR professionals in the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am, a featured event of the Travelers Championship. The Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am will be held June 18, 2008 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Hollywood A-Lister Luke Wilson, comedic legend Steve Guttenburg, television and film star Aidan Quinn and Tony award-winning actor James Naughton will all compete in the event. Guttenburg, Quinn and Naughton are all avid golfers, who also share a common interest in supporting The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a designated charity of the Travelers Championship.

"When Hollywood stars come out to compete alongside the elite athletes of the PGA TOUR, the action on the course is sure to be exciting for fans. The Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am is a must see event of the Travelers Championship," said Tournament Director Nathan Grube. "A primary goal of the Travelers Championship is to raise funds and awareness for our designated charities, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and the Greater Hartford Jaycees. We are appreciative of these stars who share their time and talents to support the tournament's charitable efforts."

Luke Wilson is best known for his comedic roles in box office hits such as Old School, The Royal Tenenbaums, Legally Blonde and Charlie's Angels. More recently, Wilson appeared in 2007 dramas, Vacancy and 3:10 to Yuma. Wilson is currently filming a comedy called Tenure, which is slated for 2009 release. Wilson is the youngest of three brothers, all of whom hold careers in acting and directing.

Actor Steve Guttenburg moves easily between roles in the Hollywood scene and on Broadway. The native New Yorker rose to fame in the 80s with starring roles in films including Police Academy, Three Men and a Baby, Cocoon and Short Circuit and their sequels. In addition, Guttenburg has earned acclaim for numerous theatrical performances on Broadway and in London's West End. Most recently, Guttenburg was seen on the hit television show, Dancing with the Stars. Guttenburg is highly active in charitable causes, particularly those relating to children and the homeless. The Entertainment Industry Foundation, the charitable arm of Hollywood, selected Guttenburg to serve as the Ambassador for Children's Issues, due to his extensive work with children's charities. Also, he built the Guttenhouse apartment complex, which offers free residence for young people coming out of foster care.

Emmy-nominated actor Aidan Quinn is known for a variety of roles. Quinn was seen in Legend of the Fall, Michael Collins,and HBO's Empire Falls. Last year, Quinn starred opposite Meryl Streep in Dark Matter, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Also last year, Quinn was nominated for an Emmy Award for his role in the television movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. Quinn will next be seen in this summer's romantic comedy, Wild Child.

Connecticut native James Naughton is a Tony award-winning actor, earning the honors twice for roles in Chicago and City of Angels. Naughton, a Brown University graduate who earned his Master of Fine Arts at Yale University, has held a successful career in theater, both performing and directing numerous plays. Naughton is an avid supporter of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and is a member of the Camp's Board of Directors.

The Travelers Championship is proud to support the PGA TOUR's tradition of Giving Back, which has touched charities across the nation. All proceeds of the tournament will support the Travelers Championship designated charities.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Conn., is a nonprofit, residential summer camp and year-round center serving children and their families coping with cancer and other serious illnesses and conditions. Through Camp programs, year-round outreach to hospital and clinics, and other services for children, families and caregivers, the Camp serves more than 15,000 annually. All Camp services are provided free of charge.

The Greater Hartford Jaycees is a leadership development and community service organization that has been serving the Greater Hartford community for more than 60 years. The Jaycees are the volunteer team behind the Travelers Championship, recruiting thousands of volunteers to host the event and therefore making it possible to raise funds for charity. The Jaycees will use the tournament proceeds to support the community in a variety of ways, ranging from delivering Thanksgiving baskets to families in need to facilitating leadership programs in local high schools to distributing grants and scholarships.
