Head West across Julia Tuttle Causeway (195), the 79th Street bridge or Broad Causeway to I-95 South.

Spectator Advice

Average late February and early March temperatures in the Miami area range from a high of 79 and low of 64. Hats, lightweight clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.

Will Call will be located in the parking lot on NW 52nd Street and NW 87th Avenue, adjacent to the Jones Lang LaSalle Doral Center. Hours of operation are as follows:

Methods of Payment

CASH must be used at all concession and beverage stands. Credit cards, traveler's checks and cash are accepted at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in all retail operations, including the Outdoor Pro Shop.

Parking for Wheelchair Bound Patrons

With proper state handicap certification displayed on your vehicle, there are designated handicap parking spaces by the Doral Resort Security office. However, you may also choose to valet your car for the customary charges.

Autograph Policy

For the player's consideration, a NO AUTOGRAPH POLICY will be enforced on the golf course during tournament play beginning Thursday, March 3 through Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Camera Policy

Cameras are ONLY allowed on-site for the Pro-Am play Monday, Feb. 28 through Wednesday, March 2, 2004. Cameras are NOT permitted at the site during play beginning Thursday, March 3 through Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Prohibited Items

Use of the following items will NOT be permitted at this PGA TOUR GOLF EVENT, cell phones, cameras, picnic baskets, coolers, radios, televisions (including hand-held televisions), back packs, pagers, ladders, signs, banners, and lawn chairs. Bags will be searched upon entering the event. No dogs or other pets are allowed.

Weather Warning Policy

The PGA Tournament officials will be in direct communication with the National Weather Service to receive reports of any threatening weather systems.

Inclement Weather Policy For All Spectators

Observe the Electronic Scoreboards and Thru Boards throughout the golf course for the "Weather Warning" signs (symbol above) that will appear if the South Florida Golf Foundation tournament staff and the PGA TOUR tournament officials become aware of inclement weather moving into the area. When the sign appears, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, put down your umbrella and seek shelter immediately.

Please avoid the following:
Bodies of Water, Hilltops/High Places, Open Fields, Telephone Poles, Grandstands, Tall/Isolated Trees, Metal Fences and Golf Carts.

The Ford Championship is one of golf's most extensively broadcast golf events in the world, with 10 hours of coverage by NBC Sports and USA Network.

Helpful Tips

  • Car-pool whenever possible and remember where your car is parked.
  • Cameras are ONLY permitted Monday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 2.
  • Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
  • Wear headgear and sunglasses for protection from the sun and use sun block.
  • Familiarize yourself with the two (2) First-Aid Stations located on-site.
  • Wear light-colored and cool clothing.
  • Stay behind the gallery ropes and cooperate with the marshals.
  • Kneel or sit down if you are in the front row.
  • Remain still through each shot and do not move until all players in the group have played or completed the hole.
  • Walk carefully, never run.
  • Display your ticket conspicuously at all times.
  • Bring a rain jacket or poncho.
