The Century Club

San Diego has been a part of the international golf world for the past 50 years as the Farmers Insurance Open brings together the top players in the world.

Leading the charge behind the success of the tournament is the Century Club of San Diego.
Comprised of 100 Active, Associate and Honorary Members, The Century Club was organized under laws of the State of California, July 25, 1961.

As a non-profit organization, The Century Club has donated nearly $22 million to charity from tournament proceeds since the event moved to Torrey Pines in 1968.

By charter, The Century Club also is the primary funding base for the highly successful San Diego County Junior Golf Association. Graduates of this program include Craig Stadler, Phil Mickelson, Scott Simpson, Lennie Clements, Todd Demsey and Phil Rodgers and Leta Lindley to name a few. Both Stadler and Mickelson each captured the Buick Invitational in 1993 and 1994.
