March 22, 2006 GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 21, 2006) - Fans are expected to gather on Main St. in front of the Westin Poinsett Hotel, Thursday
evening, April 27, at 7 p.m. for the Celebrity Walk of Fame, where celebrities participating in the 2006 BMW Charity Pro-Am
at The Cliffs will assemble to greet fans and sign autographs. Celebrities that are scheduled to appear include: Kevin Costner,
Catherine Bell, Kurt Russell and Wayne Gretzky to name a few (the complete list can be found at www.bmwcharitygolf.com). Legendary
golfer Gary Player is also expected to attend.
Award-winning band Hootie & The Blowfish will also perform as part of the tournament, Friday, April 28 at The Bi-Lo Center
beginning at 9:30 p.m. Singer/songwriter Pat Green will open for the band at 8 p.m. A limited number of reserved-seating tickets

VIP tickets are also available exclusively through the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation. These tickets include access
to the floor, an open bar, and either General Admission or Clubhouse tournament credentials good for all four days of golf,

The final special event tied to the golf tournament is the public debut of Oscar award-winning actor Kevin Costner's band
on Saturday, April 29, at The Cliffs Valley golf course. The concert is available to tournament ticket holders only, and will
take place at The Cliffs Valley after play ends for the day. Patrons are asked to arrive at the course no later than 5 p.m.,
and to bring a blanket and/or folding chair for outdoor seating. Food and concessions will be on sale. Costner's unnamed,
five-member band plays original rock and popular music. Costner, who is the lead singer, said he chose to debut at the BMW
Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs to pay tribute to all of the volunteers.
The Celebrity Walk of Fame and concerts will highlight a week of activities surrounding the BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs
golf tournament. Each event will help support the 29 Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina charities benefiting
from the tournament.
The 2006 BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs golf tournament will be played April 27-30, 2006 at The Cliffs Valley, The Cliffs
at Walnut Cove and The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards golf courses. All four rounds will be televised live by The Golf Channel.
The BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs is the only tournament on the Nationwide Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped
with Nationwide Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition. Amateurs, celebrities and pros will rotate between
each of the three courses on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the 14 lowest scoring pro-amateur/pro-celebrity teams advancing
to play Sunday's final round. Celebrities will play once at each course on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The professional
winner of the overall 72-hole event will take home $112,500 from the total purse of $625,000, which is one of the largest
purses on the Nationwide Tour. Amateurs and celebrities will compete for individual prizes and cash donations to the charity
of their choice out of the beneficiaries selected by South Carolina Charities, Inc.
The first five tournaments have raised more than $3 million for area charities.
