June 30, 2008

WICHITA, KAN - Thursday, Aug. 7 is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen® where proceeds from Blizzard® sales benefit Children's Miracle Network. This year, add a $10 donation to a Blizzard purchase on Miracle Treat Day and receive admission and parking to the final rounds of the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open Aug. 8-10. The entire $10 donation goes to Children's Miracle Network and helps save and improve the lives of kids throughout Kansas.

The Preferred Health Wichita Open, a PGA TOUR event, is at the Crestview Country Club in Wichita. PGA TOUR events raise money for charitable causes in their communities. The Wichita Open benefits Children's Miracle Network as does the Aug. 7 Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen locations across North America.

"We are so thankful to have such great sponsors like the Wichita Open and Dairy Queen. This effort will provide for all kinds of medical needs from medicines to equipment. Both partners are working together to make a difference for the children of our Kansas communities," said Melissa Kirkwood, Director of Development for Children's Miracle Network.

Dairy Queen has been a supporter of Children's Miracle Network since 1984, raising more than $70 million during that time.
