Fans congratulate Ben Curtis

Editor's note: Ben Curtis won his second PGA TOUR title on Tuesday at the Booz Allen Classic . Here are some of the e-mails PGATOUR.com received congratulating Curtis, who now gets to head to Hawaii for the season-opening Mercedes Championships in 2007.

Congratulations to Ben and to the PGA TOUR tournament staff for completing a full 72 holes under very difficult conditions. Bob Goldthorp

I am delighted for Ben Curtis, who has responded to all those who said that his British Open was a fluke. At The Open, he showed himself to be a real gentleman. Now he is one of the few who can say that he can play Links and Inland courses. The fact that I have him in my fantasy golf team is just gilt on my gingerbread! Dan Rees

Congratulations Ben. As a former Kent State golfer it is great to see you continue your success on TOUR. I look forward to more great things. Brad Shelton

Congratulations Ben! We love you and are so happy for you! Aunt Ruth and family

I'm a high school classmate of Ben's and have been a huge supporter throughout his career. I couldn't be happier that he has another victory to back up his major win. Congrats Ben! Kevin Smith

Hi Ben: I chaired the ShotLink Committee at TPC Avenel that had the privilege of lasering every shot you made. We consider you very worthy of being champion of the 2006 Booz Allen Classic. Best wishes for your future. We ShotLinkers consider you one of our own. Best regards, Bill Dempsey

Congratulations, Ben! The Buckeyes rule not only in football but also in golf. Homer Miles

Congratulations Ben...I am serving in Iraq and, after seeing your 36-hole scores, followed very closely the final 36 (on computer of course)! I am from Delaware, Ohio and have played Blackhawk many times. My wife is a 1975 graduate of Buckeye Valley and knows your Dad. We are happy for you and wish you well the rest of the season. I am done here in September and will continue to follow your career. I was home for the Memorial Tournament and you walked right by us coming off hole number two in the 2nd round. Your brother looked like he was "tired" looping for you! Take care and way to go! Mike Viers

Ben, Congratulations! Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, it has been great watching your game come into form and seeing you hoist the trophy for your second PGA TOUR title is amazing. All of Ohio is proud of you! Ric

Congratulations from the students and staff at BV Middle School! Keith Peppard

Congratulations from Germany for your great game! Ekhard Suckow

Awesome Ben! Everyone at Kent State always knew you could do it! You are a champion in our eyes, all the time! The sky's the limit! Vicki Nader

Congrats on your victory, Ben. I'm a Kent State grad and have been keeping an eye on your career for awhile. After the British Open win, a friend and I went down to Ostrander and played the family course. I'm sure this win is a great relief and shows you will be here for the long haul. Also, congrats on the upcoming birth of your child, and here's to a great rest of the year. (Hope you make it into the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone). Bruce Meyer

Nice job Ben. Help Jack keep Columbus on the golfing map! Now go dry out and keep playing well. David Keefer

Just like the "Old Man and the Sea", Ben held on for a long time to garner his 2nd PGA TOUR title. Congratulations to Ben. Steve Sante of Fuquay-Varina, NC

Ben: As a fellow Golden Flash, congratulations on your big win. Now go on to the Cialis Western and British Opens and give them a little more "golden flash"! Terry Akers

Way to go, Ben. Some people say that the second victory is even harder, and now you've done that. Keep up the good play. Michael Henderson

Ben, we knew you could do it - congratulations! As a long-time member at Mill Creek, many of us have known for a long time that you had the game to play with the 'big boys' on the PGA TOUR. I walked most of rounds 1 - 3 with your group at the Memorial Tournament and it was very clear to me that you just needed a few breaks to get back in the winner's circle. Now you are a multiple winner and there will never be any question about your place on the TOUR. I know that Bill Black is watching from above and is very proud of his grandson, just like the rest of us are. Good going Ben! Mike England in Delaware, Ohio

Great Job Ben! Way to get that second victory monkey off your back. You did all your fellow Buckeyes proud...way to hang mentally tough. Pat Chapin in Las Vegas, Nev.

Congratulations Ben! Sorry it was so anticlimactic. If not for all the suspended play, I think you would own the tournament record. You played fantastic! Bill Dwyer

Ben, Congratulations! Northeast Ohio and The First Tee of Akron are proud of your recent victory! You splashed your way to a tremendous win. We know there will be many more to come. We look forward to seeing you at Firestone Country Club in August at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Rich Kase, President of The First Tee of Akron

Ben - Congratulations from Britain! You showed your natural talent when you won our Open and I felt it was only a matter of time before you won on your home tour, even if it took a little longer than expected. Enjoy the moment and best wishes for this year's Open Championship at Hoylake! Kind regards. Peter W. Twigg in Lancashire, England

Ben: It was great to see two recent Ohio Amateur champions win Tour events on the same weekend. I'm proud to tell people that I have watched you and Kyle Reifers both play and mature in our events. Congratulations! John R. Moore, Board of Governors Ohio Golf Association

Ben, great job on the victory! What an endurance test! Nice guys do finish first. My 10-year-old daughter is very proud of her "Ben Curtis" autograph that you signed for her at The Masters. Thanks, Chuck Erb of Cumming, GA

Congratulations Ben! I'm so excited for you. I've been wearing my Mill Creek "Home of Ben Curtis" shirt this weekend. Here in Aiken, SC, you might be interested to know that you have a fan club in my neighborhood --a Kent State grad and relative of a friend of your wife's. Keep the great shots going! Best wishes for continued success, Melanie Metzler (former member of Mill Creek Golf Club)

This is the longest d(el)ay ever but patience is the mother of all virtues and you deserve this one. Ron Hunte of Curacao - Netherlands Antilles
