•  Becomes the ninth player over age of 40 to win the FedEx St. Jude Classic, joining:

• First victory at the FedEx St. Jude Classic comes in his ninth appearance at this tournament. Only other top-10 was a tie for second in 1993 behind Nick Price.

• Career earnings at the FedEx St. Jude Classic now stand at $1,049,739, becoming the fifth player to earn over $1 million at the event. Maggert moves from 105th place to fifth on the tournament money list.

• Needed only 99 putts for the week at TPC Southwind, becoming the second player this year to record under 100 putts and win, joining Aaron Baddeley (Verizon Heritage).

2006 NOTES
• Becomes the third player over the age or 40 to win on the PGA TOUR, joining Stephen Ames (THE PLAYERS Championship) and Kirk Triplett (Chrysler Classic of Tucson)

• Is only the fourth player in 21 stroke-play events to come-from-behind and win this season.

• Jumps from No. 118 to No. 26 on PGA TOUR Official Money List with $1,235,869.

CAREER NOTES
• Earns a two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR which will carry him through the 2008 season. Also earns exemptions into the 2006 PGA Championship, World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the 2007 Mercedes Championships in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii.

• First win on TOUR in seven years and three months (1999 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship). A span of 180 events in between.

• Wins for the first time in come-from-behind fashion, was three strokes back of the leaders through 54-holes.

• Playing his 16th season on TOUR, has now earned $14,260,717.
