The PGA TOUR can be an unpredictable place when it comes to fashion, but there's always one thing you can be certain of: Tiger Woods' Sunday Red -- no matter the tournament, no matter the season, no matter his position on the leaderboard. Woods began the tradition in 1996 and has consistently worn some form of red shirt in the final round of all tournaments he plays ever since. It is partially a nod to his alma mater -- the Stanford Cardinal -- and partially because he believes the color symbolizes his aggression and assertiveness in the game. We've compiled a collection of 12 images tracking Tiger's Sunday Red through the years.

When Tiger won his first U.S. Open, which also happened to be the 100th U.S. Open, the weather was its typical self in Pebble Beach. Tiger wore a matching maroon polo with sweater vest over top, paired with the usual black pants. |
