2011 UPDATED LISTS: Medical Extensions | Reshuffle

There are 35 rookies on the PGA TOUR in 2011. This feature will provide a rolling ranking throughout the season. The Rookie of the Year is voted by PGA TOUR members that make at least 15 starts.

Fourteen of the 25 rookies at the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic made the cut. Four posted career-best finishes on the PGA TOUR in the season finale, including Sunghoon Kang, who shared low-rookie honors with Kevin Chappell with a tie for third place.

Hasn't played since finishing T7 at the Frys.com Open. In the field at this week's CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia.
5 Chris Kirk 28 15 DNP 1st 4 45th
Took the week off after missing the cut in Sea Island. In the field at this week's CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia.
6 Scott Stallings 28 13 T28 P1 3 41st
One of seven co-leaders after 18 holes. Ranked second in driving distance for the week (294.0 yards). Next up: CIMB.
7 Kyle Stanley 28 22 DNP 2nd 4 55th
Completed 2011 ranked 11th in the all-around, best among rookies. Scheduled to play CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia.
8 Robert Karlsson 18 14 DNP P2 4 49th
Only rookie to lose in a playoff (St. Jude); rookies went 4-1 in playoffs. In the field at the Shanghai Masters.
9 Kevin Chappell 26 13 T3 T2 2 66th
Co-low-rookie with Sunghoon Kang. Co-led after 54 holes. Led field in driving distance (295.1 yards), fewest putts (108).
10 Michael Thompson 25 15 MC 3rd 2 98th
On heels of low-rookie performance in Sea Island, shot 2-over 70-76=146 at Disney World, missing the cut by five.
11 Sunghoon Kang 21 11 T3 T3 1 120th
Shared low-rookie honors with Kevin Chappell. Career-best finish. Ranked inside top 11 in fairways, GIR and putting.
12 Bobby Gates 29 11 T46 T5 3 126th
Co-led field with two eagles. Finished $1,431 short of the top 125 in earnings. All three top 20s were top-six finishes.
13 Billy Horschel 25 11 MC T7 2 140th
Missed cut on the number at 2-under 73-69=142. Bogey-free in second round (Palm). Earned 44% of earnings in Fall Series.
14 William McGirt 32 19 T59 T16 2 141st
Sat 8-under at midpoint, then shot 76-73. Only rookie of 20 that played all four Fall Series events to make the cut in each.
15 Louis Oosthuizen 15 9 DNP 4th 1 117th
Concluded his PGA TOUR season with a T4 at the McGladrey. Scheduled to compete in this week's Shanghai Masters.
16 Matt McQuillan 21 7 MC 3rd 1 137th
Handed in a pair of 1-over 73s and missed the cut by five. Hit 26 greens in regulation, but needed 63 putts.
17 Zack Miller 30 13 MC T9 1 147th
Missed the cut by nine at 6-over 71-79=150. At Magnolia in second round, hit only eight GIR, but still needed 32 putts.
18 Jim Renner 22 11 T66 T4 1 155th
Survived cut on number. Ranked last of 75 in total birdies (10) for the week. Converted an eagle, his fifth of the year.
19 Fabian Gomez 26 16 T46 T7 0 157th
Started final round inside top 10 but closed with a 77. Finished tied for second in Kodak Challenge, best among rookies.
20 Bio Kim 25 10 T20 T11 1 162nd
Shared 36-hole lead, sat one back after three rounds and played in final group on Sunday. Then shot 76.
21 Ben Martin 25 12 T20 T6 0 164th
Third top 25. Co-led the field in greens hit (61 of 72). Opened bogey-free 67 on the Palm Course.
22 Jim Herman 22 13 74th T22 0 189th
Made cut on the number, then shot 74-75 on the weekend. Led the field in bogeys (16). Took field-high 130 putts.
23 Daniel Summerhays 29 8 MC T11 1 171st
Shot 2-over 72-74=146, missing cut by five. Only rookie of 20 that played all four Fall Series events to miss the cut in each.
24 Joseph Bramlett 25 12 MC T18 0 196th
Missed the cut by two at 1-under 72-71=143. Missed only eight greens in regulation but carded six bogeys.
25 Justin Hicks 23 7 MC T14 0 179th
Fell two short of the cut line at 1-under 71-72=143. Made only one cut in his last 11 starts (T76/MDF, Timberlake).
26 Alexandre Rocha 22 11 T20 T20 0 184th
Second consecutive career-best finish (after T26 at McGladrey). Co-led field in fairways hit (49 of 56).
27 Kevin Kisner 24 10 T13 T13 0 181st
Second consecutive career-best finish (after T26 at McGladrey). Ranked sixth on TOUR in three-putt avoidance.
28 Andres Gonzales 21 9 T16 T16 0 192nd
Career-best finish. Closing bogey-free 67 including birdie of 25'11" at 16th hole and another from off the green at the sixth.
29 Martin Piller 23 7 MC T23 0 204th
Shot 78-68=146, missing cut by five. Opener at Magnolia: 5 (of 14) fairways, 11 GIR, 32 putts, 2 bogeys, 2 doubles, 1 triple.
30 Nate Smith 24 8 MC T30 0 201st
Missed second straight cut by four strokes. Shot 1-over 75-70=145 at Disney. Hit 24 greens, took 60 putts.
31 Will Strickler 19 6 T37 T32 0 213th
Started final round inside the top 20, and then shot a 73. Circled four birdies in every round. Five bogeys on Sunday.
32 Chris Baryla 20 1 MC T18 0 219th
Missed the cut by nine at 6-over 74-76=150. Missed seven of his cuts by eight or more strokes; most was 19 (New Orleans).
33 Joe Affrunti 6 2 DNP T50 0 243rd
Shut it down in mid-April. Had surgery to repair rotator cuff in left shoulder over the summer. Out of action until 2012.
34 Jamie Lovemark 9 2 DNP T28 0 231st
Missed the cut by 10 strokes at the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open on the Nationwide Tour. Now 0-for-2 in rehab starts.
35 Scott Gordon 19 2 MC T45 0 237th
Shot 3-over 72-75=147, missing the cut by six. Missed 11 straight cuts by an aggregate 61 strokes to end his season.
