2010 UPDATED LISTS: Rookie Watch | Medical Extensions | Reshuffle

The 2010 rookie class consists of nine Nationwide Tour grads, nine q-school grads and two who qualified via the top-125 in non-members earnings.

Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are the street favorites to win 2010 Rookie of the Year, but you'll be able to monitor the status for all 20 right here.

In this space every week, I will provide an ad hoc rankings based on tournament finishes using the fantasy scoring format for rotisserie leagues as shown below. I will also provide comments, cite trends, schedules, injuries, etc.

FINISH VALUES: Win (15 points); P-2 (9 points); 2nd-5th (8 points); 6th-10th (5 points); 11th-25th (3 points); 26th or higher/MDF (1 point); and MC/WD/DQ (0 points).

Through the Children's Miracle Network Classic
Seven of the 13 rookies in play at the Children's Miracle Network Classic made the cut, including Troy Merritt, who went on to win the Kodak Challenge in a playoff over fellow rookie, Rickie Fowler, and Aaron Baddeley. For the season, eight of the 20 rookies finished inside the top 125 in earnings. Derek Lamely and Rory McIlroy recorded victories.
Rank Player(s) Points Summary
1 Rickie Fowler 69 Finished tied for third at Disney, earnings low-rookie honors for the eighth time in his 28 starts, most among his peers. With over $2.85 million, placed 22nd on the money list, tops in his class.
2 Rory McIlroy 50 In 16 starts, he was low rookie seven times. Didn't play in the U.S. after the BMW Championship. Finished 26th on the money list, second among rookies. After a week off, he'll return to competition at this week's Hong Kong Open, the European Tour's penultimate event.
3 Josh Teater 45 Missed the cut by two strokes at the finale. Low rookie six times. Ranked 89th on the money list.
T4 Alex Prugh & Graham DeLaet 43 Neither teed it up at Disney. Prugh finished 70th in earnings and was low rookie five times. DeLaet was 100th and was thrice low rookie. The Canadian missed five (of 13) cuts by one stroke, co-leading his class (with Cameron Tringale) in that dubious stat.
6 Blake Adams 32 Placed T61 at the CMNC. Hadn't teed it up since The McGladrey (T64). Finished 98th in earnings. Low rookie three times.
7 Derek Lamely 31 Puerto Rico victory accounted for 15 of his 31 points here, but he's fully exempt through 2012 as a result. Low rookie four times. Wrapped his season with a T45 at Disney. Finished 95th on the money list.
8 Troy Merritt 27 Despite the T30 on Sunday, he's the Magic Kingdom's newest poster boy after finishing 125th in earnings and claiming the second iteration of the Kodak Challenge with a nutted approach on the first playoff hole. Twice low rookie.
9 Brian Stuard 24 Missed the cut by two at Disney, putting an end to a modest consecutive cuts made streak at five. Low rookie twice. Finished 154th on the money list, highest rated here outside the top 125.
10 Cameron Percy 23 On the heels of his playoff loss in Las Vegas, which was the only time he was low rookie, he finished T27 at Disney. Earned conditional status for finishing 145th on the money list, allowing him a pass into the final stage of Q School for finishing 145th on the money list.
T11 Jeev Milkha Singh & Martin Flores 21 Singh placed T16 at the Singapore Open. Now 82nd in the Race to Dubai (up from 91st), he has the Hong Kong Open to crack the top 60 and qualify for next week's Dubai World Championship. Three times low rookie in his 19 starts on the PGA TOUR. Finished 164th in earnings. Flores posted a T65 at Disney. He was low rookie once, and placed 175th in earnings.
13 Matt Every 19 Concluded his season with a T40 at the CMN Classic. Twice low rookie in 18 starts. Finished 160th on the money list.
14 Cameron Tringale 11 Missed the Disney cut on the number. It was the fifth time that he's missed a cut by one swing (tied for most among rookies with Graham DeLaet). Highest rated here that was never low rookie.
15 Garth Mulroy 10 Returned to action at Disney after sitting out since the Wyndham Championship, but missed the cut by four. Lowest rated here that was low rookie at least once (T6, Texas Open). Finished 181st on the money list.
16 Jerod Turner 8 Did not play anywhere after withdrawing from the Nationwide Tour's Utah Championship in September. Placed 209th in earnings.
T17 Chris Wilson & Brent Delahoussaye 7 Wilson missed the Disney cut by two strokes; Delahoussaye fanned by three. Wilson closed 213th in earnings; Delahoussaye was 217th.
19 Chris Baryla 2 Had surgery on April 19 to repair a torn labrum in his hip. He's 1-for-3 in rehab starts on the Nationwide Tour. Finished 231st in earnings on the PGA TOUR. He'll get a medical extension in the reshuffle category to start 2011.
20 Billy Horschel 0 Had surgery on his left wrist on March 8. Went 1-for-5 in rehab starts on the Nationwide Tour. Scheduled to compete in the second stage of Q School in his home state at Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville on Nov. 17-20. If he doesn't improve his number in the pecking order of the reshuffle, then he'll start 2011 outside the top 50 in its priority ranking (No. 24).
