Got his start in golf from caddying for his dad on Saturdays. Cites winning the Big Stakes event in 2005 as his greatest thrill in golf. Avid rugby fan, a sport he played on the State U21 team while growing up in South Africa. His grandfather used to play competitively with World Golf Hall of Fame member Bobby Locke.
