Named to the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in May 2004...Has done some course design work, including the PohlCat Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant, MI...Has also been involved in the Make-A-Wish Golf Classic in Phoenix...Starred as a collegian at the University of Arizona...His high school golf coach was Steve Robbins, father of LPGA player Kelly Robbins...Is one of four professionals from the Mt. Pleasant area. The others are Robbins, LPGA player Cindy Figg-Currier and the Nationwide Tour's Doug LaBelle II.
