• Second Australian to win a World Golf Championships
event, joining Craig Parry (2002 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone
Invitational).
• After trailing in 20 holes of his first four matches (80
holes), trailed in only three holes in his final two matches (49 holes).
• Wins Accenture Match Play Championship in just second
World Golf Championship start, having finished in a tie for 41st at the
2005 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
• Posted only three bogeys in his final 75 holes.
• Joins Jeff Maggert as the only two players to win in
their debut at the Accenture Match Play Championship.
