To ensure the 2010 HSBC Champions is an enjoyable experience for both the world-class field and the many thousands of fans we have produced a brief guide for how best to follow the action.

So please follow our guide to make your visit memorable:

CAMERA AND PHONE USAGE

Cameras and phones will be permitted in certain authorised areas OFF the golf course. These areas include the off course tented village zones, putting green, practice ground and short game areas and will be clearly designated with the following sign:

Areas where cameras and use of phones are NOT permitted will be marked with the following sign:

Please observe these rules as they are in place to ensure an acceptable competitive environment for the professionals golfers and to provide an enjoyable and comfortable experience for you and your fellow spectators.

Any serious infringement of these rules that disturbs the golfer's competition will require the organisers to deal with individuals in an appropriate manner, which may ultimately result in exclusion from the course.

Cameras
Cameras do provide a disturbance to the players due to the clicking sound of the shutters and automatic flash settings in overcast conditions. Therefore all cameras, including cameras on phones etc should not be used in the prohibited zones (ON course) marked with the following signage. Cameras can be used in the OFF course designated zones. Please still be aware of any potential disruption to the players and please respect the requests and wishes of the players and officials and should they ask you not to continue we respectfully ask you to stop using your camera. Accredited media are permitted to use cameras that are clearly marked with the official designation

Phones
THESE SHOULD BE SWITCHED TO SILENT/VIBRATE WHEN ON THE PROPERTY OF THE GOLF COURSE.

Calls are permitted in the OFF course zones indicated by the following sign. BUT please always check that your call will not disturb the golfers or your fellow spectators. Please still be aware of any potential disruption to the players and please respect the requests and wishes of the players and officials and should they ask you not to continue we respectfully ask you to stop using your phone. Calls are not permitted anywhere in the zones marked by the following sign. Please remember that these rules are designed to make your visit for you and your fellow spectators more enjoyable.

OBEY THE MARSHALS
Please follow the instructions of the on-course marshals as they are there to ensure the event runs smoothly and that you have the best available view of the action.

KEEP STILL DURING PLAY
Please stay still when the players are about to hit the balls o you don't disrupt their concentration -- we want to see them at their best and we're sure you do too!

KEEP QUIET AT THE RIGHT TIMES
Please remain quiet when the players are about to hit the ball so as not to put them off -- but feel free to clap and cheer at any other time when you're impressed by the standard of play!

NO AUTOGRAPHS DURING THE ACTION
Please do not distract, speak to, or request autographs from the players during their round because they'll be concentrating on hopefully securing the biggest prize in Asian golf.

STAY BEHIND THE ROPES
Spectators are not allowed to walk on the fairways, greens or bunkers. Use the designated crossing points where marshals will be happy to show you the way.

IF YOU SEE A BALL -- DON'T TOUCH IT!
Never attempt to pick up any golf ball on the course -- or try and move a golf ball on the course!

BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL PLAYERS
You may have a favourite player competing for this year's title, but we please ask that you do not applaud or cheer a mistake made by one of their opponents.

If you follow our guide we're sure that you will have a great time at this year's World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions -- enjoy the action!
