World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship to host Executive Women’s Day

DORAL, Fla. – With the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship just a few weeks away, tournament organizers are reminding the South Florida Community about this year’s Executive Women’s Day, which will be held at Trump Doral on Tuesday, March 5. Executive Women’s Day will bring together a large group of local, regional and national businesswomen for a unique networking opportunity moderated by MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer.

The day will start with a welcome from Ivanka Trump, EVP at the Trump Organization, the new owners of Trump Doral, during an 8:30-10:15 a.m. breakfast that will feature a panel of the following influential businesswomen:

  • Melody Lee, global director of Brand & Reputation Strategy for Cadillac 
  • Paula Hopkins, senior sales director, PepsiCo 
  • Phillis Oeters, vice president of Government & Community Relations, Baptist Health 

"We’re proud of the Cadillac Championship because it directly benefits the local community,” said Lee.  “I’m pleased to be here with national and local women leaders from a variety of industries to talk about how we advance the role of women in South Florida and beyond.”

Following the breakfast, the participants will take part in breakout sessions lasting from 10:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m. The breakouts will include:

  • Managing Your Health: Dr. JosetteBou-Khalil; and
  • “Business” of Golf:  Michelle McGann (eight-time LPGA tournament winner and founder of The Michelle McGann Fund). 

Lunch will follow and include Brewer as the keynote speaker. Brewer gained national recognition as a television host for MSNBC.  She currently hosts MSNBC’s prime-time series "Caught on Camera.”

Following lunch, all participants will have time to network and enjoy some behind-the-scenes views of the Cadillac Championship during the 2:30- 4:15 p.m. Mojito Mix and Mingle.
