Final Results: 1 -- Corey Pavin (205/11); 2 -- Peter Senior (205/11); T3 -- Bernhard Langer & Michael Allen (206/-10); T5 -- Jay Haas & John Cook (207/-9).

• Corey Pavin birdied the first playoff hole, sinking a 12-foot birdie putt, to defeat Peter Senior for his first win on the Champions Tour. Pavin and Senior took advantage of Mark Calcavecchia's back nine misfortune. Calcavecchia was leading by three strokes following a birdie at No. 11, but proceeded to bogey six of the next seven holes to fall out of contention. After Senior made a five-foot birdie on the 54th hole to tie Pavin an force a playoff, the former U.S. Open winner hit a sand wedge to 12 feet and drained his putt moments after Senior saw his 14-foot birdie putt finish inches short.

• Pavin claims his first Champions Tour victory and it comes in his 35th start on Tour. The victory also comes in his 122nd start since his last victory which came at the 2006 U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee, a span of 5 years, 6 months and 12 days.

• Pavin earns a two-year exemption to the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai and a check for $270,000. He also earns 270 points in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race.

• Peter Senior's runner-up finish was his fifth in 48 starts on the Champions Tour. It also marked the third time he has fallen in a playoff on Tour. He lost in playoffs at last year's Regions Tradition to Tom Lehman and was one of four players in a playoff at the Songdo IBD Championship which was won by Jay Don Blake.

• Playing in Sunday's final group, Pavin becomes the 12th consecutive player from the final group to win the event. The last time the winner was not in the last group was at the 2011 Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach when Jeff Sluman was in the third-to-last group.

• Mark Calcavecchia's T7 finish marked his ninth consecutive top-10 finish on the Champions Tour, dating to his victory last fall at the Boeing Classic near Seattle.

Dan Forsman remains the leader in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race with 307 points, 37 points better than tournament winner Corey Pavin. Michael Allen is third with 239 points.

Fred Funk had a nice showing in his first start since a trio of surgeries in the last few months for thumb and knee issues. Funk finished T10 in his first appearance on the Champions Tour since he competed at last July's U.S. Senior Open in Toledo.

• John Cook has now posted 15 consecutive sub-par round in as many starts in this tournament. Cook finished T5.

• Defending champion Tom Lehman finished T31.

• In conjunction with his sponsor, Allianz Life Insurance, Tom Lehman and Allianz will donate $7,000 to the southern Florida chapters of Junior Achievement and the Alzheimer's Association. Allianz Life partners with Junior Achievement and the Alzheimer's Association in the Twin Cities because of their focus on organizations that support improving financial literacy and providing services to seniors. For every birdie Lehman made (he made seven), Allianz Life donated $3,500 each to the southern Florida chapters of Junior Achievement and the Alzheimer's Association.

• The field averaged 72.062 for the tournament, the highest average in tournament history. The previous high was 71.685 in 2011.

• Hole No. 18 was the easiest once again with an average score of 4.537 (-.463). The hole yielded eight birdies and 111 birdies. Hole No. 10 was the most difficult with an average score of 4.211 (+.211).
