BLAINE, Minn. -- Fuzzy Zoeller and teammates Brad Liferman and Gayle Schmidt were the winners of the second annual Pro-Am Fishing Challenge at the 3M Championship. The event was staged on Tuesday at the TPC Twin Cities to help kick off part of the festivities for the week. The teams were comprised of a Champions Tour player, a pro bass fisherman and six amateurs.

Zoeller, Liferman and Schmidt bagged a total of 42 pounds during the event, nudging Phil Blackmer's team by a mere three pounds. This marked the second straight year Lieferman was part of the winning team. He was a member of Mike Hulbert's team a year ago when they claimed the top prize.

Contestants in the two-hour tournament fished in two large ponds surrounding Nos. 14/17 and 18 with groups fishing for one hour at each pond.
