STORYLINES FOR FRIDAY:
• The top six players after Round 1 -- including Steve Marino with his new attitude for success -- are seeking their first TOUR win. Only five players since 1970 have earned their first win at this event: John Cook (1981), Steve Jones (1988), Brett Ogle (1993), Matt Gogel (2002) and Arron Oberholser (2006).
• There's more than a tournament title at stake for many players, there's also the chance to make one more push for the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship.
• As always at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, there are intriguing pairings of pros and celebrities.
