2012 fantasy cheat sheet: Ranking every TOUR pro

Golf is an activity that you can enjoy alone but most are unlikely to refuse the assistance of a caddy, especially one that provides a service at no charge. Well, consider me your pro bono looper as we navigate the PGA TOUR class of 2012. I've already showed up and I'll keep up but I won't shut up. I've proven as much over the last two years. Hopefully, that fact is the reason you landed on this page.

Whatever your motivation, thanks for clicking your way to my annual full-membership fantasy projections. Included in this smorgasbord are 246 golfers that you should know. All non-retirees with status through the Non-exempt Medical Extensions are slotted somewhere, although I omitted PGA Professional National champion David Hutsell and Life Member Tom Watson.

All non-members inside the top 50 in at least one of the recent editions of the Official World Golf Ranking are also included. And just because he has cachet in our world and sits on the cusp of qualifying for a few big events, I tossed in Matteo Manassero, who also happens to be the youngest in the ranking.

These are not predictions. These are projections of value for fantasy gamers. These values will remain accurate for several months but, make no mistake, there are going to be 45 winners in 2012. So, despite the inherent dynamic of the ranking, I make no assumptions on who will hoist hardware. Furthermore, use this feature as merely one of your tools moving forward.
