| In 17 previous starts this season Baird is No. 148 on the TOUR Money List. Last year he finished No. 127 on the money list. Baird missed his last two cuts at the Frys.com Open in 2009 and 2010. He finished T14 in 2007 when the event was played in Scottsdale, Ariz. Entering last weeks Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Kevin Na trailed Briny Baird and Brett Quigley for most career money earned without a victory on the PGA TOUR. With Na's win Brian Davis moves to third on the list. |
| ERNIE ELS |
| Els is in search of his first top-10 on TOUR in 2011. In 20 starts Els has made 15 cuts with his best finish a T16 at last month's Deutsche Bank Championship. He has recorded at least one top-10 in every season on TOUR dating back to 1993. |
| PAUL CASEY |
| Casey, who entered the Frys.com Open at No. 135 on the money list, is in search of his first top-10 on TOUR this year in his 14th start. His best result of the season, a T12 at the Northern Trust Open, came in his first event on TOUR this year in February. Casey won earlier this year on the European Tour, capturing the Volvo Golf Champions in Bahrain in January. He also won last week at the Shinhan Donghae Open on the Korean Tour. |
| ADAM HADWIN |
| Hadwin received a sponsor exemption into the field this week. He played collegiately at the University of Louisville and was All American Honorable Mention in 2009. Hadwin is making just his fifth start on TOUR. He has taken advantage of all four previous starts, finishing 37th at the 2010 RBC Canadian Open, T39 at the 2011 U.S. Open, T4 at the 2011 RBC Canadian Open, and T32 at The Greenbrier Classic. |
| BUD CAULEY |
| Cauley is playing on a sponsor exemption this week and making just his seventh start of the season on TOUR. A three-time All American at the University of Alabama before leaving after his junior year, Cauley turned professional prior to the U.S. Open and has made six of seven cuts on with his best finish a T4 at the Viking Classic. In his only appearance on the Nationwide Tour in 2011, Cauley finished T4 at the Utah Championship in July. At 21 years, 6 months and 21 days, Cauley is looking to become the youngest winner on TOUR since Rory McIlroy at the 2010 Wells Fargo Championship (20 years, 11 months, 28 days). |
