Furyk voted Player Advisory Council Chairman for 2011

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The PGA TOUR announced Wednesday that Jim Furyk has been voted Chairman of the Player Advisory Council (PAC) by the TOUR's membership for the 2011 season.

The 16-member PAC advises and consults with the PGA TOUR Policy Board (Board of Directors) and Commissioner Tim Finchem on issues affecting the TOUR.

Furyk will succeed Zach Johnson on the PGA TOUR Policy Board next year and will serve a three-year term (2012-2014) as a Player Director.
