The final push toward the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup is on. With three weeks and four events remaining to accumulate points and work up the ranks to make the 125-man field at The Barclays, every opportunity counts.

For those safely inside the cut line, the quest for positioning continues with the goal being to accumulate as many points as possible before the Playoffs get under way. A top-100 position is needed to qualify for the Deutsche Bank Championship and only the top 70 in FedExCup points earn a trip to the BMW Championship before the field is trimmed to 30 for the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola.

It's important to remember that the top five in the FedExCup standings entering the Playoffs finale at East Lake control their own destiny and will win the FedExCup and its $10 million bonus with a victory.

The limited field, no-cut format of the World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational opens up possibilities for competitors. Everyone in the field will earn FedExCup points and have four rounds to post the best finish they can at Firestone Country Club.

Nine players in this week's field have an opportunity to take the top position in the FedExCup standings from Nick Watney, who has occupied the spot since his victory at the AT&T National a month ago. That group averages just under five starts in this event and features four players who have notched multiple top-10 finishes.

Below is a comparison of WGC-Bridgestone Invitational performances of the 10 players in this week's field who could finish the weekend atop the FedExCup standings.
