The official proving ground of the PGA TOUR has generated a number of dynamic and exciting players over the years and this year's class is adding to that tradition.
Jhonattan Vegas picked up the class's first PGA TOUR victory of 2011 when he won the season's third event -- the Bob Hope Classic. Also in the top 10 that week were graduates Keegan Bradley and Chris Kirk.
Brendan Steele notched the group's second victory at the Valero Texas Open earlier this month, edging fellow 2010 alum Kevin Chappell in Sunday's final grouping. Though they haven't won yet, Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey and Chris Kirk have been very close and both rank inside the top 35 in the FedExCup standings.
Eleven of the 25 Nationwide Tour graduates are currently inside the top 125 in the FedExCup standings as the TOUR moves beyond the midway point of the Regular Season. Graduates have made 249 starts this season. totaled 129 made cuts (51 percent) and 41 top-25 finishes to go along with wins by Steele and Vegas.
