SAN FRANCISCO -- Charles Schwab, the official investment firm of the PGA TOUR®, today announced the launch of a new online episodic documentary series called "The Mentor Project" which pairs PGA TOUR legends with up-and-coming stars and reveals how golf advice and guidance affects the careers of young players.

"The Mentor Project", presented by Charles Schwab, gives golf fans a behind-the-scenes look at a series of casual -- but insightful -- conversations between some of the favorite players on the Champions Tour® and PGA TOUR, including pairings of Tom Lehman and Kevin Streelman, Corey Pavin and Jeff Overton, and father and son Jay and Bill Haas. Each documentary episode is available at www.SchwabFilms.com (view the videos here). Additional player pairings, videos, and bonus content will be added over time.

"The Mentor Project" documentary series is featured on a Schwab website designed for those with a passion for all things golf and investing, including video-based golf tips from well-known instructor Hank Haney, the ability to schedule a complimentary golf lesson at more than 140 GolfTEC locations nationwide, and a series of videos with Haney and Schwab experts discussing common principles of golf and investing, including the importance of formulating and sticking to a plan, making use of the latest technology, and remaining focused through ups and downs.

"In both golf and investing, getting the perspective of a professional can make a big difference," said Ben Brigeman, executive vice president of Schwab Investor Services. "Especially in this period of continued market volatility, we see a growing number of clients asking us for investment advice. We think this new documentary series, along with the instruction, tips, and resources on golf and investing, is a fun and creative way to make the importance of professional advice and guidance resonate for investors."

In addition to the www.SchwabFilms.com website, content from the documentary series will also appear during tournament telecasts on NBC, CBS, and Golf Channel, in addition to PGATOUR.COM, Golf Magazine and Schwab's social media channels.
