This year's final grouping includes the recent United States Ryder Cup captain (Corey Pavin) and the current Presidents Cup captain (Fred Couples).

• Fred Couples' 7-under 65 was the low round of the day and moved him up 11 spots on the leaderboard into third place. Both Brad Bryant and Dan Forsman shot 6-under 66 and made the biggest moves of the day, vaulting up 38 places into a T8.

• A total of 255 Charles Schwab Cup points will go to the winner of the Administaff Small Business Classic tomorrow. Bernhard Langer currently leads the Schwab Cup race with 3,160 points but is T46 after 36 holes this week. Fred Couples trails Langer by 790 points but is in third place and can slice into his lead with a victory tomorrow. Points are only awarded for a top-10 finish and at the end of the official season, the player with the most Schwab Cup points will earn a $1 million payout.
