SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The field is set for next week's Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf and fans can expect to be treated to a full week of entertainment from golf's greatest legends when the all-team event gets underway on Monday at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa.
The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf's unique team format features a total of three competitions during the week and kicks off with free admission on Monday to the first round of the Demaret Division for ages 70+. The Raphael Division for ages 50+ will be held on Friday and Saturday. Official competition begins with the first round of the Legends Division, a 54-hole better-ball competition, on Friday.
Collectively, the 63 teams across three divisions own 880 PGA TOUR titles including 82 major championships. The field features 16 current members of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Ten of those players will compete in the Legends Division (Bernhard Langer, Ben Crenshaw, Hubert Green, Tom Watson, Nick Price, Tom Kite, Hale Irwin, Larry Nelson, Curtis Strange and Lanny Wadkins), while Tony Jacklin will be playing in the Raphael Division. Five others will be competing in the Demaret Division (Lee Trevino, Gene Littler, Billy Casper, Bob Charles and Gary Player).
Several new faces are scheduled to make their first appearance in Savannah, including a number of long-time PGA TOUR performers. Among the players competing for the first time are 2009 & 2011 U.S. Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples, 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger, 2009 Senior PGA Championship winner Michael Allen, 2010 United States Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin, two-time THE PLAYERS Championship winner Hal Sutton, 1986 PGA Championship winner Bob Tway, and 10-time PGA TOUR winner David Frost. Couples will team with 2007 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf champion Jay Haas. Allen will team up with Pavin, while Sutton is slated to compete with Larry Mize. Tway will partner with Blaine McCallister and Frost will compete with Dan Forsman. Azinger will partner with Phil Blackmar.

The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf will be televised by the Golf Channel and CBS. Golf Channel will provide live coverage on Friday from 12:30-2:30 pm while CBS will televise the weekend's play live from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday (all times are local). Saturday and Sunday's telecast will also be streamed live online at PGATOUR.COM.
Daily tickets for Tuesday-Sunday are still available with prices starting at $15 (The price of single day tickets increases to $25 at the gate). Weeklong Emerald Club passes are $75 ($65 for age 60+) and include admission into the Emerald Club Pavilion Friday- Sunday.
