BOCA RATON -- The Allianz Championship lost some star power Friday when Lee Trevino, Paul Azinger, Hal Sutton and Scott Hoch withdrew before the first round with injuries. Azinger and Sutton have back issues, while Trevino pulled out due to knee problems and Hoch has a wrist injury.

Trevino's departure opened the door for alternate Fulton Allem, who finished second in last year's tournament at Broken Sound to Mike Goodes. The other alternates to get in are Tom Wargo and Morris Hatalsky.
