The final round of the Quail Hollow Championship is set to begin. Here's a look at Sunday's action:

Groups We're Watching
Tee time Players
1:05 p.m. ET
No. 1
Anthony Kim, Rory McIlroy
Two of the best young players in the world could feed off each other's momentum, looking for come-from-behind wins.
1:25 p.m. ET,
No. 1
J.J. Henry, Phil Mickelson
If Mickelson can make up a two-shot deficit and win, he'll be one PLAYERS victory away from becoming No. 1 in the world.
1:35 p.m. ET,
No. 1
Davis Love III, Billy Mayfair
Love would, well, love to lift another trophy in his home state. Mayfair seeks to end a 12-year PGA TOUR winless drought.

INSTRUCTOR'S CORNER: Todd Jones, head instructor at TOUR Academy TPC Sawgrass, offers insight to playing Quail Hollow.

After looking at Billy Mayfair's statistics for the week, it is no suprise that he is atop the leaderboard. My previous entries for the week have spoken about the keys to contending for the Quail Hollow Championship.

Sunday's forecast

Isolated t-storms
Temp: 91 high/68 low
Twenty percent chance of rain. Winds 10-15 mph.

Key No. 1: Efficient tee shots. Mayfair is tied for second in driving accuracy. Key No. 2: Control you ball into the greens. Mayfair has hit 72.2 percent of his greens in regulation. Key No. 3: Take advantage of scoring opportunities. Mayfair is second in putts per green in regulation, averaging 1.59 putts. This is a combination that lends itself well to firm fast courses, and that is exactly what will be in in store as the players tee it up in the final round.

The final key is patience, and this is where the game plan comes in. The homework that the players put in early in the week pays off in a big way come Sunday afternoon. As the pressure mounts, the players look to a process to stay in the moment and execute the shot at hand. Having a game plan to follow makes decision-making a little easier when the brain is on overload and the heart is racing.

The Quail Hollow Championship has shown us what it takes to play the game at the highest level and what you can do to shoot lower scores. No wonder it is a player favorite. -- Todd Jones
