EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR Network on-site correspondent Brett Wright previews Thursday's action:
The flight attendant on my flight into Las Vegas this week said: "You hear the expression that everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Well that's not exactly true. Today with everyone having a camera phone, what happens in Vegas never stays in Vegas, it ends up on YouTube or MySpace for your Wife, children and friends to see." This week at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children there are 132 players who hope what they do in Vegas ends up on PGATOUR.COM, ESPN, and The Golf Channel.

The field this week has 10 tournament champions from the 2010 season in the field, including the Deutsche Bank Championship winner Charley Hoffman, who said winning in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup was great, but his most cherished day this season will be Nov. 9, as his wife is expecting their first child.
Hunter Mahan was speaking with Emmitt Smith on the putting green Wednesday. Mahan was telling Smith that his old team, the 1-4 Dallas Cowboys, needed to make some ownership changes to right the ship. Smith was more kind saying they just need to limit the mistakes they have been making. Football talk is very prevalent on the PGA TOUR.
Kenny G. who played in the Pro-am on Wednesday is leaving early this morning to catch a flight to Korea. He is performing at a concert for Y.E. Yang, who won the 91st PGA Championship.
The TPC Summerlin layout had a heavy shower earlier in the week but seems to have dried nicely in the desert conditions. The course will play short and fast through the week with a ton of birdies. Robert Garrigus, who leads in driving distance, speculated it may take 28-under par to win this week. This will be one of the great shootouts of the Fall Series.
