Q. Martin, other than starting on that fourth hole yesterday, which I'm thinking that bogey on four in the first round, just kind of kicked you in the behind and made you relax. Playing golf is what you have been doing. A good 5-under, Martin.

MARTIN LAIRD: Yes, it was another good day today. The bogey on four yesterday was a 3-putt. What it kind of did was wake me up and make me realize how much attention you have to pay to 30-footers out here. There is never an easy one. And yet kind of the same today I just drove it great again, gave myself lots of looks. I didn't putt as well today. That was the only thing from yesterday. But I probably hit it better.

Q. 5-under today and the course played a little bit different. The wind was a little bit different than you saw in the first round.

MARTIN LAIRD: Yes, pretty much for here there was no wind. It's probably the easiest you'll every see this golf course. The par-5s are all reachable and the holes that normally play pretty tough into the wind weren't playing too hard today. So it was definitely a day that you had to go out an and make a lot of birdies.

Q. Now you are playing with Lucas Glover out there today in the second round, was there ever a point where you looked over and said hey, man, slow down, what are you doing?

MARTIN LAIRD: Yes, I when I made three birdies in a row, and I think I got to the tee box twice all day today. I shot 5-under and only teed off first two times all day. He played great. As I said to him, that was a lot of 3's you made out there today. He played well today.

Q. Tell me about your game set going into the weekend.

MARTIN LAIRD: I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. As I said, I'm driving the ball great which you have to do around here. I love this golf course because you can hit a lot of drivers. I pretty much hit it every hole. That's the kind of golf I like to play, and I have been putting pretty good, so hope it keeps going.
