Fred Couples' shoes. Though he started wearing them back in January in Champions Tour events, Fred Couples made a real splash with the Ecco Golf Street Premier shoe when the Masters rolled around come April. Always noted for his laid back demeanour, this spikeless alternative golf shoe looked more like something one might wear for a Sunday morning bike ride around Martha's Vineyard than what we'd expect from a high performance golf shoe
Ryan Moore's unpredictable style. The Masters is more than just the first major on the golf calendar, it has become a golf fashion rite of spring. With that, the ever eclectic Moore quickly began trending upward in golf's social media circles after his practice round ode to Bobby Jones. Moore also made 2010 the year for introducing street-style influences to the course when he donned a hoodie at the BMW Championship in September. Juxtapose the hoodie against the ties , and I can't wait to see what Moore has up his sleeve for 2011.
Graeme McDowell's cardigan. The 2010 US Open Champion reintroduced the masses to the classic cardigan. In typically chilly conditions at Pebble Beach McDowell showed us that, when done right, the cardy exudes class and sophistication, trumping slippers and tri-focals any day. Cardigans! They're not just for grandpa anymore.
Rickie Fowler's color palette. Perhaps the most polarizing fashion figure of 2010, you either love Rickie's look or, well, not so much. Fowler took his fair share of ribbing for his monochrome orange Sunday best -- a tribute to his alma mater, Oklahoma State. Now his trademark, you can't picture Rickie in anything but orange from head to toe on a Sunday. Here's looking forward to seeing how well that Cowboy orange goes with Masters green come the second Sunday in April, 2011.
