Davis Love III and Ricky Barnes will be changing their travel plans to go to Scotland after getting into the British Open on Tuesday.

Love, who will be making his 24th start in golf's oldest major, received a spot in the field at St. Andrews when Anthony Kim withdrew. Kim had surgery on his thumb after the Quail Hollow Championship and hopes to return to competition in two weeks at the RBC Canadian Open.

Barnes gained entry in the field when David Toms withdrew due to a lingering shoulder problem. Barnes has only played in one previous British Open, missing the cut in 2003.
