Will MacKenzie's second-round 68 in Brooksville, Fla., moved him inside the top 10.

PGATOUR.COM is your source for the latest results from this year's q-school. Play is under way at all six sites of second stage. Here is a look at what happened Wednesday.

James Driscoll managed just an even-par 72 in Thursday's third round, but that was good enough to keep him atop the leaderboard with one round to play.

Redstone is the only one of the six sites already through three rounds with playing having started on Tuesday.

Driscoll does share the top spot with Sunghoon Kang, who shot his second straight 68.

Matthew Goggin struggled to a 74, but he's still in good position in a tie for fifth. Chez Reavie, meanwhile, is tied for 10th.

Other notables outside the top 19 on the leaderboard include: David Gossett (T23), Mathias Gronberg (T34), Olin Browne (T59) and Parker McLachlin (T66).

Will MacKenzie moved up 22 spots on the leaderboard and into seventh place Thursday thanks to a second-round 68 on what was a difficult day of scoring.

Only 10 players had sub-70 rounds with Scott Stallings providing the day's lowest number, a 66. Two more players, Billy Hurley (T5) and Brandon Brown (T23), shot 67.

Ty Tryon also made a big jump, climbing 21 spots into eighth after a 69.

Other notables head to the final two rounds trying to find their way into the top 19. Matt Every, Frank Lickliter and Bob Heintz are all 2 under and tied for 27th.

Billy Horschel also tumbled Thursday, shooting a 74 that dropped him into a tie for 34th, while Robert Damron fell into a tie for 47th after a 75 that included six bogeys.

Robert Gamez also appears headed home barring a major turnaround. He shot 70 on Friday but opened with an 81 and is one spot out of last place.

Three players -- Darron Stiles, Greg Owen and Skip Kendall -- shot 66 Thursday to move near the top of the leaderboard. Brent Delahoussaye also fired a 66 to move into a tie for eighth at 3 under.

South Korea's Seong Hong Lee leads by one after a 67.

Meanwhile, Guy Borros, who led after an opening-round 64, was 10 shots worse in the second round with four bogeys and a double bogey. Still, he's tied for third with 36 holes to go.

Dicky Pride and Nicholas Thompson are just inside where they need to be in a tie for 18th, while Ken Duke (T24), Omar Uresti (T24) and Len Mattiace (T29) are close behind.

Brett Wetterich, who was in contention last week at Disney, is also in the field and tied for 35th after a 74, his second straight round in the 70s here. Wetterich does, however, have one start next season to fulfill his major medical extension should he not advance.

Bob May tumbled down the leaderboard with a second-round 76 that now has him in a tie for 43rd at the halfway mark. Matthew Giles, meanwhile, went the other direction, improving 10 shots with a 66 on Thursday to move into a tie for 18th.

At the top of the leaderboard is Mike Ruiz, whose second-round 66 leaves him two shots clear of Tyrone Van Aswegen and Sang-Moon Bae.

Teenager Danny Lee wasn't able to make up any ground in Round 2 -- he followed his 73 with a 74 and tied for 43rd.

Roger Tambellini withdrew after carding his second straight 76.

At even par through two rounds, Todd Hamilton has some ground to make up. The former British Open champion shot 75 Thursday -- six strokes higher than a day earlier -- and is tied for 46th.

Atop the leaderboard, meanwhile, is David Lutterus, whose 64 moved him to 12 under and three shots clear of Fielding Brewbaker.

Jay Haas Jr., the son of the Champions Tour's Jay Haas, is in a tie for 25th after a second-round 69, while Rod Pampling is tied for 40th following a 72.

Kent Jones shot 65 Thursday to open a two-stroke lead with two rounds to play, while Joseph Bramlett, who also had a 65, moved into second.

Jonathan Kaye and Craig Barlow, meanwhile, each moved up into a tie for sixth after shooting 67 and 69, respectively.

After two straight 75s, Tadd Fujikawa has a long way to go if he hopes to make it to the final stage of q-school. The 19-year-old is tied for 63rd through two rounds, as is Kirk Triplett.

Mac O'Grady and Ted Purdy each withdrew following rounds of 74 and 77, respectively.
