FedExCup Movers: Elkington secures Playoffs spot

Steve Elkington came up short in his bid to become the second-oldest major winner at last week's PGA Championship, but he managed to make the biggest of the week -- 28 spots -- to secure a spot at The Barclays, the first stop on the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

Bubba Watson, who lost his first major opportunity in a playoff to Martin Kaymer, jumped seven spots to break into the top 10 in the FedExCup standings at eighth.

David Toms, Troy Matteson and most notably last year's FedExCup winner Tiger Woods made moves deeper into the top 125 to help their bids to make the Playoffs. None of their spots are secured just yet. Matteson and Toms are in the field this week at the Wyndham Championship to make sure they qualify, but Woods is sitting this week out.

None of the biggest downward movers of the week dropped out of the Top 125, but David Duval and Cameron Beckman (both in the Wyndham field) are dangerously close to the line with one week left to go.
