FedExCup Movers: Appleby jumps to top 25

A 59 on Sunday earned Stuart Appleby a 58-spot jump in the FedExCup rankings this week. The Greenbrier Classic champion moved from 82nd to 24th in the standings with his victory. D.A. Points went from 117th to 82nd, all but assuring himself a spot in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup while Woody Austin made a move into the playoff picture, going from 144th to 121st. The top 125 players after the Wyndham Championship are eligible to compete in the Playoffs.

Heading in the other direction are a number of players who either took the week off or missed the cut (either first or second cut) at The Greenbrier Classic. Jason Duffner (DNP), Tim Petrovic (MC) and Jeff Maggert (MC) were the hardest hit, each falling nine spots in the rankings.
