During the 2009 season, Adam Scott earned 432 FedExCup points total. In one week at the Valero Texas Open, thanks to a new putting stroke, Scott picked up 500 points in his first PGA TOUR win in two years. Now ranked 17th, he'll need another win or a string of high finishes to break into the top 5 of the standings. He's already in a far better shape then he was last year, though, when he finished the regular season ranked 110th.
Fellow Australian Aaron Baddeley also moved his name up the board with his best finish of the season -- tied for third -- to jump 60 spots. He picked up 145 points, nearly doubling his season-long total, and is now ranked 86th.
Missed cuts at TPC San Antonio sent several players down in the rankings, including Kirk Triplett, Craig Bowden and Robert Garrigus. The biggest drop went to Brad Faxon, who hasn't teed it up since Quail Hollow.
The following are the biggest movers -- up and down -- after the Valero Texas Open.
