As we move into the second half of the FedExCup race, it gets more difficult for players to make giant leaps in the standings. While there were no triple-digit moves after last week's PLAYERS Championship, a few players did crack the top 10.
The biggest benefactors of solid finishes this week were Lucas Glover and Davis Love III. Love's fourth place at TPC Sawgrass was his best of the season -- adding 115 FedExCup points to his total. Glover also had his best finish of the season -- solo third -- to move from 71st to 32nd in the standings.
A small shift happened at the top due to the first and second place finishers at THE PLAYERS. Tim Clark and Robert Allenby knocked the likes of Camilo Villegas, Steve Stricker and Dustin Johnson (Missed cut, did not play, T34 respectively last week) down two spots each to break into the top 10.
Also of note, Troy Matteson boosted himself into potential FedExCup-playoff-qualifying territory. He ended up T17 at THE PLAYERS to move 28 spots up to 123rd in the standings.
Previous FedExCup champ Vijay Singh made one of the bigger slides last week, dropping seven spots after he missed his third-consecutive cut of the season. Stewart Cink was the biggest downward mover of the week though, dropping eight spots. THE PLAYERS was the British Open champion's fourth missed cut this season.
The following are the biggest movers -- up and down -- after THE PLAYERS Championship.
