A few FedExCup notes as we head into the Transitions Championship at Innisbrook:

• Four of the top seven players in the FedExCup standings are in this week's field -- No. 1 Steve Stricker, No. 4 Dustin Johnson, and Ian Poulter and Bill Haas, tied for seventh.

• Nine of the top 10 players in the FedExCup standings have won PGA TOUR events this season. The only non-winner in the top 10 is Matt Kuchar, currently ranked No. 5. Kuchar has three top-10 finishes this year

• Steve Stricker climbed back into the lead of the FedExCup standings after the World Golf Championships-CA Championship. He now has a seven-point lead over Camilo Villegas. Last week's winner at TPC Blue Monster, Ernie Els, is now in third place, 16 points behind. (For complete standings, click here.)

• Just 167 points separate No. 1 (Stricker) from No. 5 (Kuchar). Last year through the CA Championship, Geoff Ogilvy held the top spot, 454 points ahead of No. 5 Dustin Johnson.

• The winner of this week's Transitions Championship gets 500 FedExCup points. It took 354 points to qualify for the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup in 2009, and 494 points to reach the second leg of the playoffs, Deutsche Bank Championship.
