SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- Bae Sang-moon of South Korea has won the Korean Open for the second consecutive year, shooting a 4-under 67 to beat countryman Kim Dae-sub by one shot.
The 23-year-old Bae finished at 10-under 274 on Sunday at the Woo Jeong Country Club in Cheonan. Kim shot a 69 in the final round, and Kim Kyung-tae (68) tied for third with Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy (72) after finishing at 278.
The $817,000 tournament is part of the new OneAsia series, having previously been part of the Asian Tour.
It is the first instance of OneAsia going head to head against the Asian Tour, which is staging the Macau Open. The Korea Open has attracted some big-name players alongside many Korean players but not regular Asian Tour participants.
