BANGKOK (AP) -- Sweden's Johan Edfors led from start to finish in the $500,000 Black Mountain Masters, closing with a 4-under 68 Sunday for a 17-under-par total 271 and a two-stroke victory in the Asian Tour event.
England's Chris Rodgers shared second place at 15 under with Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng, who surged up the leaderboard with a closing round of 64 that should put him in contention for a place at the Masters.
Anirban Lahiri closed with a 68 for fourth place and his Indian compatriot Gaganjeet Bhullar set the course record with a 63 to finish in a tie for fifth with Thai pair Chapchai Nirat (67) and Thongchai Jaidee (68).
Edfors led the whole way, but nearly faltered at the end with a double-bogey at the 16th after his drive landed next to a tree that put him back in a share of first place.
But he recovered with two late birdies to regain control.
"I guess I made it too exciting," he said. "I wasn't planning on doing that.
"I made a couple of poor shots and bad decisions and then had to really fight for it at the end."
