KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- Australia's Adam Blyth shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead heading into the final round of the Malaysia Open.

Blyth had an eagle, six birdies and two bogeys in the third round and has a three-round total of 14-under 202 -- one shot ahead of China's Liang Wenchong (67) and Sweden's Alexander Noren (69) in the jointly sanctioned Asian Tour and European Tour event. Blyth is seeking his first professional win.

American Anthony Kang raced up the leaderboard with a 64 and is a stroke further back at 12 under. Joining him on that mark, and in similarly impressive fashion, were England's Miles Tunnicliff (63) and Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng (65).

With 18 players within six strokes of Blyth, the $2 million event remains wide open going to the final round at the Saujana Golf and Country Club.

The world's No. 11-ranked player, Anthony Kim, shot a 71, but the American effectively put himself out of the competition with a 78 on the opening day before a 65 on Friday that enabled him to make the cut.

Second-round leader Danny Chia shot a 74 but remains only three shots off Blyth.
