PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The PGA TOUR announced Thursday a six-year extension with NEO Sports for the exclusive broadcasting rights of PGA TOUR tournaments in the Indian Subcontinent for the next six years, beginning in January 2010. NEO Sports, an all-sports channel that is part of NEO Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd., has partnered with the PGA TOUR since 2008. The new deal extends through 2015.

"The PGA TOUR is extremely pleased to be associated with NEO Sports, the leading sports network in India, to broadcast PGA TOUR competition to the Indian Subcontinent and its golf fans," said Tim Leisure, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President, International Television. "Golf enjoys a significant fan base in India and our association with the channel will help us reach the ever-growing Indian golf audience and fulfill its expectations of access to top-quality golf."

In addition to broadcasting live events, NEO Sports will present two shows every week: a PGA TOUR one-hour highlights program, which focuses on the best action from the previous week's events, and Inside the PGA TOUR, the award-winning magazine program that features PGA TOUR players and events.

"The PGA TOUR is the premier golf tour in the world, and our renewal of broadcasting rights for six years is an indication of our interest and commitment in bringing high-quality golf to Indian audiences," said Prasana Krishnan, COO, NEO Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd.
