Limited tickets still available

Mar. 21, 2008

DORAL, Fla. -- World Golf Championships-CA Championship officials are seeing record crowds at this week's event, and limited grounds tickets are still available for fans to get in on the action. Fans can purchase tickets via www.worldgolfchampionships.com (ClicknPrint Tickets) or at the admissions gate for $55 each day. To avoid waiting in line at the gate, however, officials recommend purchasing tickets in advance at the Web site.

"We sold out our Clubhouse Tickets last week, and once again, we are seeing a really strong walk-up crowd during the tournament," said CA Championship Executive Director Eddie Carbone. "We are ecstatic with the way the South Florida community is supporting the CA Championship.

"With Tiger Woods at the top of the leaderboard and some great players right behind, we're looking forward to a record-setting crowd over the holiday weekend. We did, however, have a 45-minute wait in line at the admissions gate this morning, so we strongly recommend fans buy their tickets online and use the bus shuttle system from JC Bermudez Park."

Due to the threat of thunderstorms in the late afternoon on Saturday, round-three tee times have been altered. Players will tee off in threesomes from 8-10 a.m. on Nos. 1 and 10 (as opposed to a one-tee start in twosomes from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.).

Gates will still open to the public at 7:30 a.m.
