Through its growing partnerships with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and The First Tee on both a national and local South Florida level, CA has enlisted four youths who display a passion for the game of golf, outstanding scholastic achievement and community involvement in their hometowns to help tell the story of the 2008 CA Championship. Desi Brantley (hometown, Fla.) ; Stefano Diaz (Key Biscayne, Fla.) ; Andrea (Ellie) Maniery (Sacramento, Calif.) ; Philip Spano (Bronx, N.Y.) will make up the CA corp of reporters who will delve into every aspect of the tournament from interviewing caddies about what it's like to lug around a golf bag for 72 holes in the Florida heat to an inside look at the players' locker room. In addition, the kids will walk the course during the tournament and report on the play of the game's best golfers during their quest to tame the legendary "Blue Monster."

"The CA Course Reporters program is another step in our Company's commitment to help grow the game of golf and teach kids the values, character and skills needed to be successful both on and off the course," said Bill Hughes, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications for CA, Inc. "Both the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and The First Tee work extremely hard in making a difference in the lives of youths, and the opportunity to connect with them and give these four great kids an unforgettable life experience is something we are very proud of. Their coverage of our tournament will give golf fans everywhere instant access and a refreshing, unique look into a world-class golf event."

Along with help from the PGA TOUR and PGATOUR.com, the course reporters will post entries to their blog beginning with coverage of the practice rounds and player press conferences on Wednesday, March 19, and stretch their reporting through the conclusion of the 2008 CA Championship on Sunday, March 23. Over the course of the tournament, the kids also will have the opportunity to meet and learn from several members of the golf media who will share some of the tricks of the trade when it comes to gaining insight into what it's like to cover a pro golf event from the smallest details to the trophy presentation on Sunday evening.
