Stewart Cink entered last week's Travelers Championship having posted 26 top-10 finishes since his last win at the 2004 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.

His victory at the Travelers Championship ended his victory drought and given how well he had been playing, you knew it was just a matter of time.

Top-10 finishes are clearly an indication that a player is performing at a level that could lead to victory. So who's had the most top-10 finishes since his last win?

Robert Allenby.

Since winning the 2001 Marconi Pennsylvania Classic, Allenby has posted 41 top-10 finishes. He has three runner-up finishes since that win, including a playoff loss recently to Justin Leonard at the Stanford St. Jude Championship.

Jerry Kelly is next on the list with 39 top-10 efforts since his last win at the 2002 BMW Championship. He's had four runner-up finishes since then, including two this year at the Puerto Rico Open presented by Banco Popular and the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley.

Billy Mayfair is third. He has 38 top-10s since winning at the 1998 Buick Open with five seconds to his credit. He finished T2 earlier this year at the PODS Championship.

Chris DiMarco and Tom Lehman complete the top five as each has had 32 top-10s since last winning. DiMarco has had eight runner-up finishes since winning the 2002 FBR Open while Lehman also has eight since he won the 2000 FBR Open.

If you keep hanging around the top of the leaderboard long enough, you'll eventually end up on top. These five players are playing well and are due. Don't be surprised to see one or all of them break back into the winner's circle before the season is over.
