TOURNAMENT RECAP: Fred Funk booked his place in PLAYERS history by becoming the oldest winner (age 48). Funk outwitted his rivals with some precision golf. In his final round, he bogeyed Nos. 14, 15 and 17 and needed a 6-foot clutch putt for par at the last to seal the win. The Ponte Vedra Beach resident made the putt and celebrated a famous victory saying: "I can't comprehend how big this really is for me. They can't take it away from me. I always will cherish this win."
